Since spring seems to be coming earlier than anticipated, does that mean that summer will start earlier as well? Obviously, the date of the first day of summer remains the same, but let’s be honest. If we can enjoy 2 to 3 more weeks of summer temperatures, we will take them enthusiastically!
In short, for me, the summer is already in my head, in my wardrobe, in my glass (red wine has been replaced by a refreshing gin and tonic), and my thoughts are turning towards family activities on the weekend. That’s why I am giving you 10 activities you need to do with your family this summer that will earn the approval of your toughest critics: your kids! You know the old adage: happy kids = happy family! In fact, it’s usually: happy wife = happy life, but you can change the words to mean what you want, right?
Whale watching tours
Just a stone’s throw from Tadoussac is the charming region where the land meets the sea: Charlevoix. The beauty of this region’s mountains is matched only by the beauty of the nearby river which welcomes in its salty waters beluga whales, minke whales, fin whales, humpback whales and majestic blue whales. AML cruises welcome you aboard their boats to meet these giants of the sea.

They say that you can get a whole new perspective on things from 1000 feet in the air, and all of the worries you had on the ground seem smaller. Now, imagine actually floating that high up in a hot air balloon? Québec Montgolfière and Montréal Montgolfière invite you to touch the sky aboard one of their magnificent balloons, masterfully piloted by seasoned and experienced professionals. Years from now, your children will cherish the memories of the time when, aboard a balloon, you gave them wings.
